Adam K. Joseph, Managing Director

Adam K. Joseph is a Managing Director for MACCO based out of the Las Vegas, NV office and  West Coast Region. He is a results driven senior executive and business developer with over 25 years of cross-functional expertise in scaling businesses through strategically focused leadership, with an emphasis towards improving profitability.

Adam’s hands-on business experience includes development of sustainable operating initiatives, astute financial management and sales and marketing development in both private and public business sectors. Adam’s perspective on the challenge of advising companies in operational or financial peril is enhanced by his experience in the global, hospitality and gaming manufacturing industries leading the firm as CEO through both the tech bubble in the 90s and the financial crisis of 2008. He consistently exceeded corporate goals while relentlessly pursuing increased returns. Adam oversaw operational cash flow and implemented fiscal efficiencies resulting in increased margin expansion.

Prior to MACCO, Adam was the CFO for a Las Vegas and Houston based family office with equity and debt investments across a wide range of business interests. He earned his BS with an accounting minor from the University of Houston, Conrad N. Hilton College and is a registered FINRA Series 3 holder.  Adam is the former President of the Turnaround Management Association, Las Vegas chapter. He revitalized the chapter and negotiated its successful merger into the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Notable Assignments

  • As Interim Revenue Officer for a publicly traded cannabis CPG company, led the North America sales efforts  increasing net margins in 11 markets; restructured and aligned the entire sales team while reducing departmental overhead by $1.5MM in 10 months.

  • As acting CEO, led a buyout of a gaming and hospitality manufacturing firm in Nevada, which had generated 48 consecutive quarters of profitability, with the transaction closing at tripled revenues.   

  • As the CFO for a family office with investments in technology and hospitality, spearheaded the due diligence and portfolio selection in the areas of vacation travel, gaming, financial technology, real estate, and food and beverage.

  • Guided the initial Series A funding round of a Silicon Valley based financial technology company focused in the ‘buy now, pay later’ space, contributing to its current $1B+ valuation as the industry pioneer in the leisure travel space.
