Practice Areas

With middle-market restructuring firms and even solo practices, you hear about “low-leverage approaches” which unfortunately doesn’t mean sensible fees. At MACCO, it’s the drive to find a solution that compels us. We understand that our clients are, by most measures, cash-constrained and we’re there to help in a cost-effective manner that aligns with your best interests.

Interim Management

MACCO provides proven, experienced leadership that can immediately fill crucial voids in an organization’s senior management structure. We have served as interim leaders and final decision makers in all aspects of a company’s operations. From the boardroom to the executive suite and from the production floor to the employee break-room, MACCO seamlessly and effectively brings essential leadership, communication and management skills to organizations in distress.

Operational Improvement

At MACCO, we understand that fixing the financials never fixed a business. Operational Improvement at MACCO means more than short term fixes…it means doing the hard work of understanding why a company is underperforming in the first place. In operational improvement MACCO looks at each aspect of the business, from high level to street level, to discover lasting and meaningful changes that management can realistically implement to improve business operations and financial results.

Fiduciary Services

MACCO professionals, acting in fiduciary roles, have a demonstrated record of providing impartial and clear answers to matters arising as the result of litigation, business conflict or other unique circumstances. We have been appointed by bankruptcy courts and domestic and international courts as receivers, assignees and chapter 11 plan trustees. In February 2020, Drew McManigle was appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the United States Trustee for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, Region 7, Houston/Galveston Division, as 1 of 6 Small Business Reorganization Act (“SBRA”) Trustees.

Financial Advisory

At MACCO, Financial Advisory means more than crunching numbers. MACCO professionals review the data and perform the financial analyses necessary to provide our clients with actionable plans designed to conserve cash, preserve assets and going concern values, while providing long-term recommendations.
